One of the best things about playtesting JUX (our upcoming story building game for creative thinkers) is the wild stories players come up with, even with our test deck. Last night, at Lucky Lab on Hawthorne, we came up with a particularly hilarious tale:
(Note: when a new story branch is created, the cards on the original story path become inactive. I’ve crossed out the associated phrases to indicate this).
“The best way to procrastinate is to… go to a sci-fi-themed café, where there is live music, and the waiter throws away all the time pieces, and you forget to write the ransom note, and you invite all your friends, so you can feed them to a venus flytrap at the end of the night, but forget to grab the jellyfish to knock them out, so they rebel, and you time travel to the time of the dinosaurs to get reinforcements, but you are too busy playing with your food to notice, so they lock you in jail, The End.”
Makes perfect sense, right?
